Compensation - starting from $18 to $25/hour + benefits
Hours - full-time 32 to 40 hours/week
Dark Matter Factory is moving the production of our BLACKBIRD line of products to Portland. We are looking to hire an experienced container candlemaker to finalize our candle recipes and systems to bring BLACKBIRD candles to market. This person would work with the containers, packaging, and fragrances already developed. This person would also work as part of the BLACKBIRD production team, helping to manufacture perfumes, incense, and candles.
EXPERIENCE
3-years experience handmaking scented container candles
commercial product manufacturing
leadership/management
SKILLS
basic mathematics, algebra, and formulas
scientific methods of problem-solving
organized - documentation, space planning, process flow
detail-oriented
excellent fine motor skills
understanding of the luxury product industry
able to work collaboratively and autonomously
